Ability Contabilidade is a consulting accounting and tax intelligence firm, founded in Rio de Janeiro in 2014 by Alexandre Alonso, with more than two decades of prior experience in audit, accounting and business consulting.
We serve mid-sized and large companies across different industries — manufacturing, retail, services and financial markets — always with the same standard of technical rigor and closeness to the client.
Beyond meeting accounting and tax obligations, we act as strategic partners: we stay close to each client's operation to turn financial information into business decisions.

Alexandre Alonso
Accountant, with more than two decades of prior experience in audit, accounting and business consulting
A graduate in Accounting Sciences, Alexandre Alonso began his career in 1990 at Ampla Auditores Ltda., where he worked until 2007 as a senior auditor. He then became a partner at Exato Assessoria Contábil Ltda., a position he held until early 2014 — the year he founded Ability Contabilidade in Rio de Janeiro.
Over more than two decades of his career leading up to founding Ability, Alexandre worked closely with small, mid-sized and large companies across manufacturing, retail, services and financial operations. That hands-on experience — not just technical expertise — is what shapes Ability's positioning today: accounting that understands the business before it processes a tax form.
